I was wandering through the archives at Whip Up and came across the link to micro revolt Knit Pro 2.0.  This is an online grid program that allows you to use one of your own photos and make a grid pattern for cross stitch, knitting or crocheting.  I used a piece of clip art that I had saved and gave it a try… This grid setting is for cross stitch.  There are other settings for knitting and crocheting.  The patterns are pulled up in Adobe pdf. format and can be saved to your pc from there.  It was surprisingly quick and simple to do and I am quite happy with the results.  Double clicking on the pic will give a much larger, stitch by stitch look at the pattern. I will be going back to try a knitting pattern using my grandson’s high school logo… I think that would be a fun Christmas present.  Have a look…
