The holidays at our house was warm, relaxed and sunny. The day was spent at our son’s home with a wonderful set of friends and a dinner that was totally wonderful… and not prepared by me! grin We had our own special Santa that dressed up special for the occasion.. and the tiny birds that I made were placed on the Christmas tree. (I will have to make more of these for next year!) The painted eggs made wonderful gifts and I’m thinking they may become a yearly tradition…but don’t tell anybody…grin Our grandsons have reached their teens and it seems that we are just not as “in touch” with all the electronic games (etc…) as we should be, so they get money each year to buy what they want. In years past, we have given it to them in quarters or taped the ends of $1.00 bills together to pull out of boxes…etc… This year, it was a treasure hunt.. with the main map hung from the tree and all subsequent clues placed at strategic places around the house… What fun!
But, alas, it is over again for another year. I hope your holidays were warm and fuzzy, fun filled and memorable.
