Weed Whacker Quilt (tutorial)

Who ever heard of such a thing!? grin  In my search for quilting patterns and for Men Who Quilt, I came across the  site of John Flynn.  It’s called Flynn Quilt Frame Company.  His company produces a quilt frame that can be used with your home sewing machine.  John’s company is located in Billings, Montana. For the serious quilter, this is a godsend.

John is also a gifted quilter.  This quilt called “Custer’s Last Quilt” has a wonderful tale to tell about it’s television career.  The story is here.  After it’s return home, John then cleaned it, removed the horseshoe print,  and quilted it.. and isn’t it a beauty.

Now to the “Weed Whacker Quilt”! Take a look at this tutorial..  Scroll down to the center of the page… Amazing!  … Have a look…

The link and all photos are used with John’s permission.  Thank you, John.
