Beaded Crocheted Icicles (free pattern)

Crocheted IcicleCrocheting decorations for Christmas is an all year activity at my house.  There’s just something about having all those hand made things hanging from the tree to bring memories and to know that perhaps at some point these will be hanging from the grandchildren’s trees also…  This is a crocheted and beaded icicle… Hopefully there will be many more before Christmas..grin  They are very simple to make.  There is a pattern here on the HGTV site that shows how the same pattern looks different depending on the kind of thread or yarn used…

    HGTV site does not tell how to add the beads to the icicle.

    Phyllis,
    You are absolutely correct. Thank you for pointing this out. To add the beads you must first string them onto your thread or yarn and then slide them up to the stitch you want them added to. I hope this helps.
