Biscornu (free patterns & tutorial)

My friend Jo from Daily Stitches is to blame.  It’s all her fault.  I dropped over to her site and found “the motherlode” of free biscornu pattern links.  So…here it is.  The one I just had to try was begun as we watched (can you believe this?) an old, old, old Dick Tracy movie from the 1930’s.

Have a look…

It’s a reward for inspiring me to crochet again. I owed you! Looks lovely. I actually started charting my own biscornu pattern in excel the other day, after being overwhelmed by the motherlode I found.

This is so lovely, I have some patterns like this from my grandmother. I have to collect them next time I go to see her and make a nice album for all my “virtual” friends!
