Cranston Village (free patterns)

Blue PurseCranston Village.com is one of my favorite online inspiration places to go.  First, I enjoy seeing just how fabric is made and then printed.  Then I enjoy their huge selection of mostly quilting projects, but also some book covers, lampshades, chair covers…  and a some projects that are more crafty here.  There are new purse patterns for strip fabric crochet.  Have a look…

And speaking of purses… I took my purse apart and re-sewed the bottom so it sits correctly, then finished sewing the purse.  I think I will still make another one and use a stiffer fabric with a covered cardboard bottom to help it remain stable.  I find the flimsy droop to be a little disconcerting…grin

I love purses like this when I travel for work. I typically take a small roll aboard piece of luggage and a briefcase, with a fabric purse packed away so that I don’t have to take my briefcase to dinner to hold my wallet and keys!

I am trying to find the pattern for The Pink Ribbon Signature Collection by Karen Neuburger. I have a kit that I bought several years ago and I want to make it for my cousin who was just diagnosed with breast cancer. When I pulled the pattern out, it looks like the directions were not printed completely. There are about 2 lines at the very bottom of the page with part of the instructions. The picture and the fabric sample pictures are on the front. I hope you can help for direct me to where I can get a copy.

    Hello Martha,
I’m afraid I am not the one you bought the kit from. I don’t sell anything from this site or anywhere else. 🙂 This is just my personal site.. no merchandise… I’m sorry I can’t help you.
