I’ve ordered the stand for the 32″ Harp..lol.. however, I must say,  the formal dining room is seeing a lot more action since the Harp’s arrival.. :O)

This is my first try to make something really useful.  This scarf should be around 4 1/2′ long when I take it off.  I’m tickled to finally be able to see what my hand spun purple will look like in something more than a tiny square.  I will be taking it off this morning and then working with the fringe.  Haven’t decided yet how I will do the fringe…

Along with the stand, I have also ordered an 8 dent heddle.  This handspun is approximately 11wpi and I had to stop with each pass and separate the threads of the shed.  However, this was no big problem and didn’t add all that much time to the project.  I really like the way it has turned out.  If I had tried to get that purple kool aid to separate into all it’s different colors it never would have happened..lol

Would like to say “Congrats!” to Cyndy over at Riverrim  for her 5th Blogiversary!  Pop over and say hello and while you are there take a look at her flax that she is gathering… and her very pretty flax maiden.

Wow that looks amazing and in only eight days! I’m waiting for my Kromski Harp to arrive. I got the 24″ and the floor stand. Your progress is so encouraging.
