Drumright, OK This Weekend!

My DD lives in Central Oklahoma and has asked me take part in the Drumright, OK  Oil Patch Jamboree  Craft Show.  I have made some spindles and am in the process of dyeing wool to put in the starter spindle kits.  Tomorrow or this afternoon must put together a “How To” for beginner spindlers…and for beginner broomstick lace crocheters.

So far, I have made 6 painted spindles, 9 unpainted spindles, 7 broomstick lace “broomsticks” in 2 sizes.   This is turning into more work than I had planned on..lol  Much more going on… but must go and get to it…

More tomorrow…

O wow! I’ve got a drop spindle on my wish list. Is that what your spindles are? Do you sell them? Is there a tutorial for making them? Every time I visit your blog I see something to get excited about. I love the pattern from the Canadian online magazine for the take along wrap you fold into a square. I must learn to knit!
