Telos Scarf Pattern is up…free knitting pattern

I have uploaded the pattern for the Telos Scarf I finished last week.  I named it Telos because…”Telos (philosophy), the philosophical concept of purpose; it is related to teleology, the study of design, purpose, and intent.”   And besides.. it came up in an anagram search using one of my grandson’s names…lol

1950's Sewing Chest

Look what I found at an antique shop in McKinney!  It’s in the Danish modern style that was quite popular in the 1950’s and ’60s.  There’s no marking on it to tell me how old it is (that I can find) but I am assuming at least 40 years old.

1950's Sewing Chest 2It had all of this stuff in it.  The pincushion was the deal breaker..lol  My mom made one for me for Christmas the year my second son was born.  I had it for many years, until the tornado of 1979 sent it on it’s way.  And it’s been a long time since I have seen a wooden handled anything..lol .. much less a pattern marker.   Well.. all in all, it was love at first sight and now it sits beside me as I work on ..well.. whatever it is that I am working on..lol
