Ingram Arts and Crafts Show … more stuff

I’ve been working on a selection of different styles of handwork to show at the Ingram Arts and Crafts Show in Tupelo, OK on Sept. 22, 2012.  The photo shows a pocket weaving board warped with hand spun wool plied with polyester thread then woven with 1/2 inch strips of and old sheet that I had lying around.  Took no time at all to weave.

This coin purse is the result.  The rose cluster is embroidered with silk ribbon.  I love it.

If you find yourself with a little time on your hands, do come out and just enjoy the fun with us.. ;o)

The coin purse is beautiful. The concept is definitely to make good use of recycling the old to create something new. Love it. It is simply beautiful.
